Description: This position is within the Technology Operational Data Management (TODM) team within ITForIT Data Services.  

Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include:

•         Provide onshore coordination of activities between the offshore(EGS) and onshore team.  

•         Ensure all active production issues are appropriately tracked, triaged and escalated.  

•         Monitor and report status on batch including escalations where SLA's are in jeopardy.  Will follow-up on root cause analysis and ensure Preventative actions are raised as appropriate.  

•         Will also ensure development activity issues between on/offshore are tracked accordingly.   

•         May also help coordinate the creation of all support artifacts.  

•         Some weekend work may be required to support weekend batch activities. 

Qualifications:

•         5+ years of application production support experience.  (Data Warehouse environments)

•         2+ years of application development and implementation experience.  

•         2+ years of process definition and documentation experience.

•         2+ years of defect tracking tool experience

•         Strong dependability in doing independent, multi-tasked work.  Should self-start and complete projects without close supervision.  

Strong verbal communication.  Comfortable partnering, negotiating and influencing others.  Has the skill to foster and manage relationships and gain commitment to accomplish business goals.

•         Strong written communication.  Should be able to digest documentation and present findings clearly

•         Strong problem solving skills.  Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

•         Moderate SQL syntax knowledge.  Can write SQL against source and integrated databases to compare and contrast data.  Can read SQL stored procedures and interoperate logic contained within. 

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to assess current processes/procedures and make recommendations for efficiency

Ability to act as a liaison between the technical design staff and business requester to ensure all requirements are met

Project management experience

•         Experience with Team Foundation Server.

•         Experience with Abstract ETL tools such as Ab-Initio.

•         Experience with Documentum Document management system. 

•         Experience with Basic SharePoint (Maintaining SharePoint lists and basic workflow)

•         Working in Agile Teams.
